A group of us stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The lodge sits back from a gorgeous, quiet pond surrounded by pine and fir trees. In the morning you can hear loons. The staff is very helpful and prepares delicious, organic and free-range food for you - and can also stoke up the campfire or the fireplace for you. There's... More

The staff was very nice and very helpful during our recent stay at Seyon Lodge. Apart from the location in a forest and the many possibilities of relaxation, this is certainly a most important aspect of the qualities of the place. Mario Otis and friends

As we were driving up the dirt road to the property, I felt every drop of stress evaporate. The location is so beautiful, it felt like a movie set -- too amazing to be real. The pond with the hills behind is gorgeous, and you can sit in some adirondack chairs to admire the view or go out on a... More

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Seyon Lodge. Although many wedding guests were camping nearby, we opted to stay at the Lodge for a comfier stay. And, we were so happy we did! It is simply charming. The views of Noyes Pond are amazing & we loved getting to jump in a rowboat to take in... More

10. Beautiful views, sunset across noyes pond 9. The Loons, up close and personal 8. The rowing machine....err, row boats only on this pond. Great workout against the current and breeze. 7. The rooms arent rustic. Theyre nicer than some hotel rooms, and the cross breeze and sunrise in your window is hard to top 6. Fishing advice from paul,... More

I organize a knitting retreat every winter and we hold it here. We rent the entire lodge, and we spend from Friday through Sunday having an absolutely delightful time. I also rented it for my 20th wedding anniversary/vow renewal, and everyone attending (some from out of the country) had a brilliant get away. This is not a fancy, luxury property,... More

Just returned from 5 days at Seyon Lodge. The rest of my extended family was camping at nearby Ricker Pond State Park, but we opted for a bit more comfort. My husband wrote the following in a complimentary letter to the Vermont State Parks Dept: " Innkeepers JessieMae and Emmet are fabulous ambassadors for Vermont – they take their responsibilities... My wife and 17yr old stayed at Seyon Lodge this weekend for a wedding. If you are expecting a state lodge / state park, do not bother. This is a quaint B&B on a shockingly beautiful piece of property. I would HIGHLY recommend this for a romantic get away and if you are considering a wedding - this is the... More

Seyon Lodge may describe itself as a "rustic" place in a state forest, but it's really more like a top-notch bed and breakfast. Adam and JesseMae made us feel at home. The common areas include comfortable couches and a roaring fire, and it's just a few hundred yards to Noyes Pond and hiking trails. The bedrooms are very nicely furnished... More
