Recently stayed at the Whitcomb Inn. It is an old house situated right off a main thoroughfare. So, if you think because you are in the country you will have a quiet night sleep, forget about it! The Inn is so very close to the road that the noise just reverberates in the room. The rooms are nicely decorated with... More

Staying at the Whitcomb Inn is just wonderful. The house is beautiful and Marie's small touches make all the difference. She is so exceptionally welcoming and spoiling, it was the best stay of our entire trip. With freshly baked pie on our return every evening and fantastic breakfasts we were spoilt rotten and couldn't bare to leave as our trip... More

The Whitcomb House is a delightful bed and breakfast in the country but with quick access to all that is offered in the Burlington area. From the big red barn across the road to the chocolates on the night table you are in for a grand experience. AND that is before you think about Marie's evening slice of pie and... More

We spent almost a week at The Whitcomb House B&B. What a fantastic stay!!! The place is so welcoming as are the Innkeepers, Marie and Dave. We felt soooooo at home. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We couldn't wait for breakfast every morning. Marie is a super cook, always using the freshest fruits and vegetables. Her just picked corn pancakes... More

We weren't even out of the truck and we were greeted so warmly. Our queen room was beautifully appointed and had all the charms of a Vermont B&B. Our private bath was completely modernized. We were in town for a wedding and had a few hours to rest. Marie gave us some drinks and showed us the pool. The pool... More

I had to be in VT on business and decided to stay at the Whitcomb House based on other reviews. I am happy with my decision! Marie was fantastic. She is a bundle of joy with a terrific warm personality. How could you not love spending time with her and the cutest dog ever Whitty! I missed meeting Dave. The... More

Marie and Dave were so accommodating, as though we were family. We were researching our family who were originally lived in this area and they were genuinely helpful in our search. Marie makes the areas best pie! This experience was just what my family needed!

What a great place to stay. Nice clean, quiet and private weekend with all the comforts of home and then some. Marie is a wonderful baker and a perfect host. Unfortunately too early in the year to enjoy the pool, but plenty of things to do and places to see. An added advantage is dog boarding right up the road,... More

Marie and Dave both really nice people, lovely historical home with lots of character set on beautiful property with picturesque river rushing along out the back and a gorgeous old Vermont style barn and silo. Little "Whitty" their pet shitzu gave us a lively welcome, so cute and friendly, a real rascal. Marie's cooking is pretty good too - hearty... More

Beginning with breakfast and ending with a slice of delicious cake/pie in the evening, this was not your typical b&b! All home made, from vanilla strawberry pancakes, fresh fruit stuffed french bread, cheese and bacon quiche, baked goods, super yogurt with granola and eggs with sausage and home fries. Returning home, we had to immediately begin a diet regimen. If... More
