Valley of the Gods is so beautiful that we skipped right over Monument Valley. The innkeepers Gary and Claire are very nice folks. Their house is off-the grid, although you wouldn't know it from the amenities that they provide. We stayed in the Cabin, which was surprisingly roomy and boasts a "root cellar" bedroom. The cabin is set off from... More

This place is something completely different. The building is in an amazing location and in the morning we sat on the porch and could see the mist fading from the sandstone structures of the Vally of the Gods. Gary and Claire were great hosts and great people. Our Breakfast table consisted of individuals from Omaha (us) Germany, France and Scottland.... More

Great place in the middle of a mini Monument Valley. Friendly people, good breakfast. If you're going to Monument Valley, do NOT stay in Kayenta; it's a rather boring little town. Stay at the Valley of the Gods for a special experience. It's a bit of a drive but that's exactly the charm of it all.

What a wonderful experience. I absolutely loved our two nights in the eastern room of this historic home. This B&B is off the beaten path, think sitting on the porch, drinking wine and gazing at the high desert or evening sky. Think comfort also. Gary and Claire work very hard to keep the accommodations comfortable and pristine. The place is... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Valley of the Gods B&B for a night while on our honeymoon and it was amazing!! We wanted to break-up the trip from Sedona to Moab and this was the perfect stop. The innkeepers are so knowledgeable and interesting!! When I told them we would be visiting on our honeymoon, they got us... More

A stunning location which we have never stopped talking about to our friends and family. The owners were so friendly and interesting in their own right. We had a super evening dining with some American Dentists who came regularly to enjoy walking the local trails. We are considering a holiday in this area next year and I can't wait to... More

My husband and I have stayed here twice before and always wanted to bring our son and his girlfriend back with us - as we knew they too would fully appreciate what we consider the most perfect place in the world! So-we all four came for two nights in August as part of my husband and mine 60th birthday and... More

The Valley of the Gods B&B is quite unique and unusual....and not for everyone. The building itself is very unique....originally it was an oil derrick that was converted into a ranch house. Off the grid and run by solar and wind power makes it a very unique experience. No internet, no TV...not much of anything other than being with nature.... More

This is the place to experience the wonders of the universe: sunrise, sunset, stars and the mysterious standing columns and mesas peopling this broad valley. I had an extremely comfortable room with an adjoining conservatory as well as a stone-lined shower. I really enjoyed my stay, Claire is a good hostess and the other guests were so interesting and friendly.... More

A pine ceilinged stone house standing alone in the middle of a stunning valley. 500 foot cliffs on one side; sloping plateau dotted with buttes on the other. The mountains of three different states on the horizon. Warm and practical hosts, wonderful breakfast. If you love wilderness, and want to find somewhere you will never forget, stay here. Dinner options... More
