The cabins are quite small and borderline clausterphobic, but otherwise rustic, and all and all an interesting experience. The only downside were the bathrooms. The showers had no place to dress in private, so you were forced to dress out in the open bathroom area as people entered and exited the bathroom leaving one exposed to the outside when the... More

Escalante Outfitters is so much more than a hotel. The cabins are quaint and cozy with just enough room for two and a great price. We are campers so the separate bathroom facility didn't bother us, especially since it was nice and clean. The restaurant has an outdoor deck and an indoor seating area. Service is friendly and food is... More

When I chose this cabin, I wasn't expecting it to be as clean as it was. The room was well maintained and kept. It also felt cozy and the heater inside the room kept us warm although it was too warm and we had to lower it down and eventually turned it off. The community bathroom, located in the center,... The reception at the front desk was friendly especially the day before Thanksgiving. The cabins are tiny with a bed and 2 nite stands with lamps as the only furniture. But they are very homey and cozy. There is a separate building for bathroom facilities including showers. Due to the cold nitely temperatures, it was the perfect alternative to camping.

We got to town late and checked all over for a room. We found these 2 cabins to spend the night. There was no plumbing in the cabin but the shower and bath rooms were close by. It was not what we had planned but we had clean beds and a place to clean up for the next day. The... More

We were camping and pitched our tent here. The sites were clean & peaceful, the shower facilities clean & warm! The camp ground is attached to a very cool store & restaurant/coffee shop- great pizza, beer & service!

We stayed here on our adventure ride in Utah. The log cabins were adorable and quaint. They are simple and beautiful. With the bathrooms in a separate building it gave it a bit of a camping feel that was fun. The serenity of no TV was nice. The on site restaurant was excellent!

I took my elderly in-laws here for two nights in October, 2012. I was a little nervous -- this is exactly the sort of place I love, because it looks a little funky, and is a little different. But would the in-laws like it? In short, they loved it. They loved their little cabin, with just enough room for the... More

These cabins are small (just bigger then one's bed) but yet big enough for two people and their luggage. The feel of of cabin is wonderful. It's so cute with it's porch. The bed was firm but yet soft for a good nights rest. The bathrooms are nicely in the middle of the row of cabins. The bathrooms where clean... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins while touring the National Parks in Utah. We were pleasantly surprised. This is an inexpensive alternative to motel lodging. The cabins are quaint; not much larger than the space of the bed, with just enough room for a couple of suitcases. Be advised that there is a communal bath (male/female),... More
