Two of my friends and I who are ex-innkeepers visited the Palm Lodge last month as a "girl's week-end out" treat. As you can imagine, being in the business, our expectations are pretty high. We could not have found a more perfect place.....there was absolutely nothing any of us would have changed! The property is stunning, the furnishings top notch... More

My husband and I and our one year-old traveled to the Houston/Bay Area for a conference, and the Palm Lodge was an excellent place for me to spend my time and my husband was gone during the days. Incredibly clean (I wish my house was this clean!) with thoughtful touches (little snacks in jars, a chocolate on the pillow, etc.),... More

Yes, yes, yes! Needed to be near Galveston and Houston on a recent trip but didn’t want to stay in either of those cities. We don’t usually stay in b&b's as spouse is over six feet and we have a child as well. The Palm Cottage with its sleeper sofa and the Palm’s midway location seemed to fill the gap.... More

My husband and I live in Houston and were looking for a relaxing, romantic, but close one night getaway and we really found it at Palm Lodge. The hosts were so friendly and personable, the decor was amazing and all the little details you would expect from first class lodging were included. It's real close to Galveston bay and the... More

Linda and Larry are some of the nicest, sweetest people we have ever had the priviledge of meeting. It was our first time to stay in a Bed & Breakfast and it will not be our last! We were made to feel like family while staying at the Palm Lodge. Linda was very accomodating in every aspect of our stay.... More

My husband and I had the most romantic first day, beginning with the magnificent breakfast (I took a picture, it was so incredible) that was served to us in the dining room and then we toured the home and visited with the hosts (very personable and funny), then we went on the grounds and watched the deer, totally relaxed and... There is no room for improvement at this beautiful bed and breakfast. It is a hidden treasure perfect for a girlfriend getaway or romantic retreat! Linda knows just when you want to visit or when you need quiet moments with your companion. The rooms are full of fantasy and fun, while having every convenience you need. Breakfast is a treat... What a fabulous hide-away. My wife and I spent the night in what I consider among the most elegant of Bed & Breakfast accommodations we've ever stayed in. The Innkeepers spent four years creating the most inviting of environments with architectural detailing and grounds that are second to none. Add to that a breakfast fit for royalty and you can... The home and grounds are so enchanting, I didn't want to go to sleep. I wanted to wander room to room soaking up all the beautiful decor that Larry and Linda created! It is hard to imagine that this mansion is only a couple of years old. It has all the scale and ambience of a large Victorian mansion from... More
