Rooms are clean, bathroom is average, bed is hard as a brick. Pillows are flat wafers. TV is 20 inch old school type. Annex is in back in an unsavory area. Overpriced. Will not be returning here. Would not recommend.

Best Western had overbooked and therefore arranged for us to stay at the Hill Country Inn. I can assure you that had there been any thing else available in town, we would have turned around and left immediately after entering the room. The room was dark. We selected Hill Country Motel from previous reviews. We did not have the same breakfast experience (other reviewers stated that there was a yummy breakfast). We really like staying here for an overnight sleep and run. The rooms have always been clean and you can drive right up to the door. The self serve fresh hot waffles for Breakfast shaped like Texas make this place a real Bargin.
