very clean, plenty of space for our 18 month old to play, clean sheets & bathroom, staff was nice (one exception of the ditsy girl that told me they don't have anywhere to do laundry here- it's on the 2nd floor- $4 to wash and dry). New modern, 10 foot high ceilings micro and big frig great bed really nice bath with amenities. Enclose pool 25 x 50 feet, lots of light clean well ventilated and a hot tub that really works (worth the price by itself). Very decent free breakfast!

A tough-stay if you want to sleep. Incredible amounts of noise from the hallway. Guests are loud and elevator beeps are too noisy. Disappointing that such a new property is so poorly-built. We were on our way to Red River, NM from Central Texas and decided to break our long road trip in Dumas. Glad that we chose this hotel. It was clean and modern. It's located off the main highway. This La quinta was mice. It had Clean rooms, a decent breakfast and most importantly they take dogs! A very good pit stop. There were lots of dinner choices in the immediate area. We will be staying here again on our next trip.

Trapped in a blizzard in Dumas, Texas and enjoying it. The La Quinta is new and has the friendliest staff I've experienced at any La Quinta - I try to stay at La Quinta Inns where ever I can. If you are ever needing a motel at Dumas (stopover for Colorado headed Texans) consider the LQ. You won't be disappointed.
