We stayed in Cabin 326. It is very nice. My understanding is that it is not one of the newer cabins but at any rate it was very nice. Very impressed with the cookware in the cabin. When we stay in the cabins, we eat in quite often. A lot of the cabins we have stayed in before did not... More

This is the best accomdations we had every experienced. The staff was wonderful. The cabins were spotless and couldnt ask for a better location. Beautiful scenery from the... More

I went there for New Years Eve with 2 other people, they said the room was redone over, it was the worst place I have ever stayed in. They also had no water, so we could not use the bathroom, our stay was for 3 days and checked out next morning. They refused to refund any money to us and... More

We stayed at the Mountain Vista Getaways (also called the big bear lodge and resort). I was hesitant at first because I was not sure what we were booking. It was fabulous. We had a two bedroom cabin for 4 adults and two children. The cabin was roomy and very well decorated. Also, the cabin was in great condition and... More

O.k. I want to start by saying I usually do not complain about things but I am very upset with the cabin that we stayed in on our 6 night trip with a family of seven. I will start by explaining, 1st the carpet was filthy and stained so bad that I would not let my kids play on the... More

Stayed here for a long weekend in cabin 450. The cabin has 2 bedrooms( king and queen ) and the beds and bedding are divine. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the great room. The second "bedroom" is located in the loft so if privacy is an issue you might want to put kids here. 2 full bathrooms, one with... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in a one bedroom, premier duplex-cabin for our week-long, much needed vacation. The cabin is more the size of a condo but the decor and appliances are top-notch. There was a full deck with hot tub, grill, and patio furniture. We had a flat screen in our living & bedroom. We enjoyed a large king... More

My husband and I along with our 3 yr old and two 10 yr olds stayed for 5 nights at the Big Bear Lodge & Resort. The staff were extremely helpful and everything we needed was in our cabin. We were a little concerned after booking because of the duplex cabins. We had all of the privacy we needed and... More

This was awesome. The cabins were wonderful. It was like you were in a little subdivison away from everything but you are really close to everything! It was very romanctic and the people that owned it left a book so everyone could write about their vacation there and it was just really nice and cozy. Couldn't ask for better alone... More
