Great place to stay just off the route, My room was comfortable and modern, being in a converted stable block it was also quiet. I had breakfast and evening meal in the pub both of which were good and great value. I felt very welcome and the pub has a good atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

I was with two friends walking Offa's Dyke and we stayed here on the last night of our walk. Helen was an extremely friendly host and we were able to have a pint even though the pub was yet to open! The rooms are in a converted stable block across a courtyard at the back of the pub, so no... More

I visited my son and stayed here in Justin and Helen's hotel. I was a bit apprehensive being on my own but boy did I get a great welcome from all. My hosts invited me into the bar and everyone was chatting asking about me and my life in Essex (they watch Towie lol) I really love this place and... More

Good pub grub. A warm welcome after a days walking. Excellent value. We even drank them out of rum. The rooms where nicely decorated and homely. The land lady was lovely and friendly and so where the locals. Definite recommend if your walking the Offas Dyke path!

No complains from me about this b&b, couldn't fault my visit- Clean and friendly with brilliant food what more could you ask for from a quiet break away! We ate in the restaurant throughout our stay and the food was lovely, you could tell it was homemade. The waitresses were friendly and so were the bar staff. The restaurant itself... More

Walking Offa's Dyke path, we stayed in Knighton. Although the outside of this pub did not look promising, the rooms, in converted stables are just fine (except for the shower!) We ate in the pub and the meal was pretty good.

The converted stable at the rear of the pub affords about 4 well appointed but compact rooms. The pub/bar is not up to the same standard but is run in a friendly manner. Food is esually not the focus of the business and for an evening meal you should definitely try the Horse & Jockey just down the road instead.... More

An excellent family run inn. The bar is well run and clearly a favourite with locals. The accommodation is first class and the restaurant food was good but the service could have been better. Definitely one to recommend, but the owners need to focus on the restaurant side to make it perfect.

Just stayed one night in between 2 stages of Offa's Dyke walking. Excellent rooms in a converted barn annex. The staff were very friendly and helped us with baggage and bike storage. Good lively bar with excellent choice of real ales. Thank you very much for a lovely stay

The George and Dragon had lovely rooms as part of their converted stables at the back of the pub. We were walking the Offa's Dyke path and really needed somewhere to crash out and recharge our batteries for the night, so we were delighted with an excellent room for a reasonable rate when we were shown in during the afternoon....
