Having been warned of reviews on Tripadvisor I was quite upset to be allocated room 11 on arrival at this hotel. I had no problem with the room however - it was quite spacious and the shower room was big enough for me!.There was a bit of noise from the bar below when I retired to the room at 9.30... More

Hotel and immediate area looked a little run down but we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. However, we were not impressed with our twin room (no.1); the fact that it had obviously been recently decorated and there was some decent pine furniture and a couple of nice pictures on the walls didn't make up for it being an awkward... We were unsure as to what to expect as we were here on the kgb deal, which was quite good value considering what you got. The room was clean, looked freshly decorated, the bathroom also very clean and fresh, had a bath and shower, really good sized room with a double and a single bed (even tho was just the... More

My wife and I stayed here recently on a kgb deal. The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff extremely helpful and courteous. We didn't expect too much in view of the good offer we got from kgb. The hotel itself was very nice and the rooms comfortable so we were quite happy with that. However when it came to... More

Went with friends for lunch. Pleasant atmosphere. The food was fairly basic but well done and reasonable prices. It wasn't the most fantastic meal ever but was certainly good and I will definitely go again.

When we booked here we got changed from one lady giving us a double room that we wanted then mentioning kgb another lady saying the first lady was mistaken and the room was a twin we could have. When we checked in we were told that we had to ask at the bar when ordering our food for the special... More

I have stayed here many times en route to the Ferry Terminal in Holyhead. The welcome is always so friendly and the staff are extremely helpful. The bedrooms are basic and clean but the bathrooms are quite dated. I always opt for the "home made" dishes on the menu which I have found to be delicious. Great value for money.

A friend had recommended The Valley Hotel to us for an evening meal. We were staying at Trearddur Bay Hotel and found places around quite expensive. These did two meals for £10. I have to say it was faultless. The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh and well cooked with probably the nicest onion rings and garlic ciabatta I have ever... More
