We regularly eat at the Sailors Return when we stay at Beaumaris. Very friendly welcome from owners John and Elaine; and from the bar staff. Good hearty food and efficient service. Often worth a look at the Specials Board too.

Come to the sailors everytime we visit Beaumaris as we have relatives who live in llanddona .. A warm welcome awaits in a lovely atmosphere .. The staff can't do enough for you and we always have a lovely meal ... Always look forward to our return .. Thank you !!!!!

Cosy pub,friendly atmosphere.Good food-plenty of it too- & service.Visited it for the first time when on holiday last year,made sure of a return visit this year.We have a list of places to go to eat-The Sailors Return is now on there too.

We liked the place ok. It was cozy and welcoming. The food was average. I had lasange, which was a bit dull. My husband had some meat which was decent. Veggies were boring, but chips were awesome. This place did not make any special impression on us. it was not great neither bad.

Really do not know why the last review was so negative because we stayed 3 days B and B early Nov 2011 and really enjoyed it.The room was comfortable ,the breakfast very good and the hosts John and Elaine extremely friendly and helpful.
