Had three nights here for our first trip to Memphis. We arrived late and check in was smooth and friendly. Concierge staff very good throughout our stay. Getting a warm cookie doesn't impress me. This Doubletree needs updated guest rooms. No outlets for laptops/smart phones. Corroded shower heads and tubs/tile in bathroom that are really showing wear and tear, poor temperature control (chilly room took all night to get from 66 to 72).

Sure I was sleep deprived before I arrived, but this hotel is impressively quiet. I couldn't hear my neighbors, the staff respected the do not disturb sign, traffic noise is minimal, I couldn't hear any music outside until mid-afternoon, and I didn't hear any squeaky carts in the hallway.
