We stayed in lodge number 37 and on first inspection, it was lovely and had everything we wanted. The views were magnificent and the lodge was warm and cosy. The master bedroom was fine, big with 8 plug points and the en suite was lovely. The second bedroom however was not so good with the door handle held on with sellotape,... More

Six of us walking the West Highland Way arrived wet, tired and hungry to find no one at reception. We had to trudge around to the bar where we were given our room keys and told that our bags were in a shed round the back of the hotel. This was not even locked therefore anyone could have helped themselves... More

We were hiking the West Highland Way last fall and stayed at the Rowardennan Hotel one night. It is literally 1/4 mile from the end of the road alongside Loch Lomand. It was great. The pub had a wonderful atmosphere and was lively with good food. We spend a good five hours there, drinking, eating and playing cards. Taught two... More

I stopped here on my journey along the West Highland Way and it says to ring ahead if you are going to be late "as you become a cause for concern". I couldnt get through to anyone as the reception was "closed"! and after arriving at 8pm, no one had wondered where I had been. I had to trudge along... More

This hotel was our accomodation for our second night. When we arrived we were given a card with our details on and a code so we could retrieve our bag from the locked shed. Our room was very close to reception but we did not notice any noise from there. We were happy with this room as it meant neither the... More

Arrived a little later than planned and had to trudge to find our key. Then we had to lug our bags up stairs through numerous doors to our room. Oh dear! our hearts dropped! A twin room with beds pushed together. NO VIEW AT ALL - our room looked onto another roof and the bathroom view was of the air... More

Stayed here on a very wet Day Two of our trudge along The Way! Despite us not arriving late reception was not manned which meant my husband having to find his way to the bar to pick up the key. Then another trudge through corridors and doors to find our room, all the while lugging our quite heavy bags (despite... More

The accommodation was fine, although why anyone would build in a large wardrobe so it obstructs the view through a fine window of the Loch is beyond me. But everything we walkers needed was there. We went for a drink and froze. We had to eat here and found an unused part of the restaurant that had a fireplace with... More

My Girlfriend and I stayed at this Hotel last February and it is in a very good location for going hill walking. We only stayed the one night, it was a groupon deal. Very good price and the breakfast was good. I loved the fact you could take dogs into the bar area and now we have a 13 week... More

Thank you for your positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay. With regards to WiFi due to our very rural location it is almost impossible to receive a signal at times. Weather conditions also effects it too. Some mobile phone signals are also hard to find in rual areas. More

Stayed at a lodge for 3 days in feb and it was superb. The lodge had everything and it was a. Struggle to go out at night as it was so cosy. Luckily the chef at the hotel on site was excellent and the food was great. We ate out every night and allowing our dog into the bar area... More
