Our room was one of the front uppers, and was an absolute delight to be in. Very spacious, beautifully sunny with windows on 2 sides with great views over fields and fells. High quality solid furniture, with a small sofa and chair in the window bay. Huge comfy bed with lots of pillows. Overall the room felt very luxurious. Guest... More

Stayed one night on b and b basis. The room was spotless and comfortably furnished. Breakfast was well presented and the service friendly. Be aware that Saturdays through the summer attract live music and lots of enthusiastic supporters. This can be loud but visitors should be prepared as it is clearly stated on the publicity materials, including the hotel's website.The... More

Everything about this hotel was lovely! It is truly a historical building that has been brought up to current standards in the best possible way. Our room was small but very comfortable. All the space was used to its best advantage and in spite of its size, they retained an old fireplace as part of the décor. The lounge and... More

We stayed here for the final night of our 4 day break on the West coast of Scotland. My partner and I have stayed in Killin before and popped in here on our last visit for a couple of beers after we had been to see Finlarig Castle. We arrived with our mothers, booked in and were shown to our... More

We booked 2 nights to explore this area of Scotland. Be aware that this is not a hotel, but it is a very nice bed & breakfast. And while they were very accommodating, there were some problems. Their boiler was out, but they placed heaters in the rooms which made them quite cozy. As a working vacation for my husband,... More

A warm and friendly place that made us feel instantly comfortable. The little hand-drawn map of a suggested village walk was a nice touch, and there were lots of books in the bar, including mountain books, to whet the appetite for walking. Wet boots can be left to dry in the boiler room overnight. The bar has a real fire,... More

just back from an overnight stay at the Coach House; can't fault it. The room (Lomond) was spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, large double ended bath, unlimited hot water, shower with great pressure. A warm welcome and the food was delicious. A lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the country- loads of walks around about to... More

This was our first time at the Coach House and we would happily return. We were made to feel welcome by all the family and the regulars, so felt very comfortable having a drink and food in the bar. The room was very clean and we had a great night's sleep.

We stayed overnight en route to visit our son and his wife in the Highlands. Friendly staff, the best beef casserole (bar meal) that I've had in years, superb wine list, clean and comfortable room, (& booking late we were in the non-en suite room - it was still excellent and thoughtfully appointed). A hard working family business, delivering on... More
