Great location, wonderful outlook, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and welcoming hosts. Situated just outside of Fionnphort, with panoramic views all around, the accomodation is very clean and comfortable. The bedroom, guest sitting room and bathroom are all on the ground floor with a separate entrance/hallway which gives a feel of having ones own apartment area rather than being in someone... More

We stayed here this autumn and found the room perfect for our mini break. The separate lounge was a big plus, giving you a cosy den with teevee, etc. The overall layout gave us exclusive use of all of the ground floor excepting kitchen, where Linda produced hearty breakfasts. Running a b&b is a delicate balance - both home and... More

We stayed for 3 nights with our 5 yr old. The house and room were very clean bright and comfortable. There is a separate sitting room which was very useful. Basically we had the run of the lower floor which included the bedroom, sitting room and bathroom all connected by a short hallway. There is a large porch which would... More

It took a little time to find as it is off the main road a mile before you come to Fionnphort on a property called Maolbhuidhe Croft; which is the first gate you come to. Go past that to the next gate and you get a warm welcome from Linda and Tim, a comfortable home for the night and an... More

We fortuned on some wonderful weather during our recent stay. Linda makes a marvelous breakfast and was super on helping with changes to our ferry schedule as well as arranging trips to Staffa where to eat and such. Her suggestions on dining turned out to be much better than ours. The cottage is comfortable and very clean and Linda also... More

Linda and Tim were so welcoming and friendly to my mum and myself, and nothing was too much trouble, from phoning the Ferry Shop to ensure a newspaper was saved for Mum on our return from Iona one day, to calling the Calmac office and rearranging the time of our ferry on our last day. Despite REALLY wild weather we... More

We had a wonderful 3 days on Mull in August largley down to our hosts Tim and Linda, not so much the weather. This traditional B&B is down a quiet road a short distance from Fionnaphort with your own separate lounge and breakfast taken in a large kitchen while watching the birds and hares. Linda helped us plan our few... More

Isle of Mull :) It costs staying several days there. Maolbhuidhe B&B - bed and breakfast with the name I still cannot pronounce correctly :) but it's Number_ONE bed and breakfast in my rating of Scotland B&B during our 2-weeks trip in may 2011. First of all - the owners - Linda and Tim are very helpful. Linda assisted us... More
