We spent a night here and can't recommend it enough. We also had a really nice evening meal. Lovely sized rooms, very clean with all the facilities we needed. We took our dog, who was also very welcomed. I think there would be a lot of good walking in the area in decent weather as the surrounding countryside goes on... More

Our stay here was a surprise Birthday Gift and exceeded our expectations. Very attentive and friendly hosts, comfortable and spacious room with beautiful view over countryside and delicious breakfasts and dinners with lots of choice. A couple of weekends prior to this we stayed in a 4 star hotel which in no way matched our very enjoyable stay in Homelands.

Holmlands thoroughly deserves its Tripadvisor 2012 5 star award based on the reviews received during the year. Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Great food with good service and good conversation.very comfortable beds in well kept rooms. Situated in a lovely part of the clyde valley. Many good walks nearby.Will certainly be back.
