Although it has been a while since we stayed here, the location of this farmstyle B & B has stayed with me. The B & B is down a long drive way leading to a finger of land that protrudes out into the southern end of Loch Ness. The views are magical with picnic tables that encourage you to kick... More

I stayed here for one night while walking the Great Glen Way in May 2011. I had a double room with ensuite. My hostess was Jenny MacKenzie and she saw me walking in down the drive and was at the door to welcome me in. Jenny was friendly, informative about the Old Pier House (which is historic and in a... We are a walking team from Kilmarnock who had a fantastic time at the Old Pier House. Jenny was so welcoming when we arrived on day 8 of a charity walk of The West Highland Way and The Great Glen walk. The weather had been atrocious and we were all soaked through so she invivted us all to dry off... More

My wife and I stayed a couple of nights, and although overall the experience was ok, the behaviour of the owner Jenny was somewhat odd. Se could be charming and a great source of information, but then at other times was off hand and rude. As an example, after breakfast one morning we placed our cup and saucer on tiop... More

This was our first time to Scotland and afte a seven hour drive, we arrived to be greeted by the rudest person ever "JENNY" . We arrived at 11.30am, which was early but on the phone Jenny said it...
