My husband and 20 year old daughter stayed in the lovely Newton Lodge and were enthralled by Freda and Andre. The rooms were sweet, Andre's breakfast food was delicious, and the conversations with Freda amazing. We spent our days hiking and bird watching, occasionally spying on the near by otters.Thank you so much for a fantastic time! More

A very nice B & B, more like a small hotel. Great location and lovely breakfasts from caring and very interesting owners. More

This was the first time that we had stayed at Newton Lodge & we were pleasantly surprised by the wildlife knowledge of the owners. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location with loch & mountain views from our room. A telescope is provided in the conservatory so the seals can be viewed on a small island nearby. The room... I stayed at Newton Lodge for six nights at the end of May/beginning of June 2010. It was a perfect time of year with long sunny days (it doesn't actually get fully dark). My hosts, Andre and Freda, are a lovely couple who are always ready to help or offer advice on sightseeing etc. My room was a double, nicely... More

What a wonderful, heartwarming, comforting place this B&B is. Freda and Andre make this area come alive with wonderful tips on where to go and what to see even if it is raining and the wind is howling. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained with all the comforts one would need. Breakfast was delicious. Most of all there is... More

The lodge is in an isolated position about a mile south of the hamlet of Kylesku, overlooking Loch Glencoul with the interesting geological feature of the Glencoul Fault clearly visible. A truly wonderful location. The building is fairly modern and in good repair. The room was smallish but clean and well decorated and comfortable. There is a large very pleasant... More

this is a wonderful lodge situated in one of the most beautiful and remote parts of the country. we had a warm welcome and had a most spacious and comfortable room with en suite bath. breakfasts are well cooked and well presented, but the highlight of the visit was sitting in the large conservatory in the evening and looking out...
