Stayed here recently for one night. It was fabulous, Anna and Ken are lovely people who were very welcoming, providing fresh coffee and biscuits upon our arrival. The bedrooms were very very comfy with an good size ensuite which had a great shower. The lounge area has beautiful views and is very relaxing. We had a early departure time the... More

We stayed with Anna and Ken for two nights and they made us welcome from the start. The room we had was nice and clean and the power shower was great in the morning. The breakfast was hard to fault, the coffee was served in a strange container but was permanetly hot! Anna and Ken are a lovely couple and... More

Situted up an over grown lane way first impresions was the rather untidy exterior. this B&B is run by a well meaning elderly couple who are surly past their prime. Their small dog has complete run of the house including the kitchen, I would have hygiene concerns with this. Rooms small but comfy , there eco heating system makes noise... More

We stayed in the Green room for two nights mid July. At first we felt that Anna's house maybe wasn't all we expected and that it was slightly overpriced for a B&B stay. The approach to the house is a little uninspiring and the facade slightly dull. The room is compact and the ensuite even more so and the furniture... More

We just returned from three weeks touring Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We stayed at three hotels and 8 bed & breakfast homes. Anna’s House is located near the small village of Killinchy north of Downpatrick and Killyleagh. The house is located in a very quiet area at the end of a rural lane. It overlooks a small... More

Anna's House was everything I expected and more. My mother and I stayed two nights in September and would happily return tomorrow. Our room, a main-floor twin room, was attractively decorated, clean and comfortable, with a patio door leading to the garden with beautiful views of a small lake and, in the distance, the Mourne Mountains. Yes, the food was... More

We would recommend Anna's House to all our friends. Ken and Anna are warm and hospitable people, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their house is stunning and the location beautiful. We were made to feel completely at home, and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a gourmet's delight, with homemade breads and jams, fruit... More

The service was good. Ken and Anna aim to take care of your every need, but sometimes that can seem a little over-fussy. While the premises were clean, the decor was tired and ready for a repaint. The room was comfortable enough, but not large. The lighting near mirrors in the room and ensuite was poor. Lino in the ensuite... More

We stayed at Anna's House near Belfast, Ireland. We had the best breakfasts because Anna baked scones, delightful breads and wonderful sausages, bacon and eggs herself. Don't stay in Belfast if you want to really get to know the people. Anna gave us great directions to fantastic dinner places, a lovely garden at Mount Stewart Gardens. Anna even did our... More

There's a danger of over-egging the pudding in writing about Anna's House but really I can't fault it. From the warm welcome at the door to the stunning view that hits you on entering the virtually self-contained B&B 'wing' (and I won't spoil the surprise of that) to the charming, very comfortable bedrooms and the perfect home-cooked (organic) Irish breakfast,...
