We stayed 10 nights last August & really do recommend Stockleigh Lodge: great warm welcome, very "British" atmosphere in this former hunting lodge, cosy bedroom with wonderful view on the park, plentiful tasty breakfasts adding opportunities to talk with the other guests, lots of helpful advice with the walks (including lending maps & taking us to our starting point &... “Cold rooms and pathetic shower”

Stockleigh lodge is a clean, friendly place to stay and is convenient for livery. It is a shame that our room was cold and the shower just dribbled. Breakfast was nice and views were nice. Gardens well kept and a short walk into Exford village.
