“Great weekend”

We had last Friday evening here on a special deal - what a treat! The staff were lovely, the room was spacious and clean and the vening meal was terrific! Better than expected. Good to have The Black Dog next door. Great to have a seaview at dinner and breakfast time. We'll be back

I suppose it isn't quite fair to review the hotel, since we ended up staying in the staff quarters, which was more like a dormitory, but I can comment on the Black Dog pub, which was fantastic! We stayed for 2 nights from the 28th September. The good points about this hotel are the service and location. The hotel is in a fantastic location in a quiet bay. We spent four nights at the Water's Edge and found that we agreed with some of the reviews on here but not others. First of all, the hotel does need a revamp as the decor is tired and dated.
