There are some things that we didn’t appreciate. In the bathroom you must to wait long time to have hot water and in every case the water isn’t so warm. The bed has the blanket too small and short. You can’t have the breakfast in the Lodge but you must drive for 2 Km for arriving to the Restaurant: this... More

This was the first B&B we stayed at in Ireland. It set the bar high and came in at second place surpassed only by Sea View House at Doolin co Clare. It is in a peaceful scenic setting and Ericka - the manager - couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable. She had a fire going for us... More

The Lodge was very clean and comfy (with 2 well furnished lounges), though rooms were a bit small but sufficient. Location was awesome if you like nature and don't mind a 3 min. drive or shuttle into town for the restaurant. Staff was just wonderful and always there in case you needed something. If you have time for dinner, pre-book... More

We stayed in Trooperstown Lodge while walking the Wicklow Way. When we arrived in Laragh at the Heathers restaurant we were brought by limo to the Lodge. Erika who runs the lodge is wonderful: welcoming and ever ready to accommodate any request. The bedrooms are very well furnished and there are two very comfortable residents rooms full of interesting books.... More

Travelling with my son in Ireland we were looking for an accomodation in a peaceful, calm, relaxing accomodation and in Trooperstown Wood Lodge we found it. This was a delightful and quiet place just about an hour south of Dublin, so it was an easy drive after we flew into Dublin. Erika is incredibly sweet and accommodating, and made our stay very comfortable. The meals at Wicklow Heather were not to be missed -- turns out the locals come from quite a distance to eat there,... We were looking for dog friendly accommodation in Wicklow and were impressed by previous reviews. From our first contact on checking availability until leaving after a wonderful 5 day stay we could not have experienced more helpful or friendly staff and owners. For those who may not be keen on dogs we understand that pets are strictly not allowed into... More
