Pretty little country pub which has a friendly and cosy athmosphere. The staff are helpful and the food is nice, not usually a fan of carvery but on this occasion was very happy with the choices and the quality

Ate lunch at the pub while on a guided tour. I had the vegetable soup with a bun, it wasn't too bad (price was very good - €3.95) but my husband's meal was, as he put it, the worst meal in Ireland. It consisted of chicken pasta with broccoli, carrots, a bun and a large heap of peas. You had... More

stopped in for some food, cold plates, cold food, potatoes were at least a day old, ham was like eating a rubber boot, my cat would've turned his nose up at it. was disgusted that I paid for that food, would never return

My husband and myself stayed overnight in Lynhams. The room was lovely but cold when we arrived but a quick flick of the radiator and it heated up quite quickly. We had dinner in the bar which was gorgeous and the crumble is to die for. There was music in the bar which was excellent. The staff make this hotel.... More

We didn't stay at Lynhams but I must recommend the bar. We stopped in for a drink and a bite after a 3 hour hike in the Wicklow mountains and were famished. We arrived at the cross-over point from afternoon to evening menu and so had the choice of both. My Wicklow venison sausages and mash were sensational – others... More

Laragh was a good place for a first overnight stop as we began our around the island road trip. Also close to Glendalough which we planned to visit. Price for Lynhams was reasonable and I was also intrigued by another TA reviewer commenting on how in the winter it reminds one of the hotel in “The Shining”. However it’s nothing... More

My husband and i stayed in this hotel 9 years ago for my birthday in july we had a wonderful experience. We decided to revisit it this year. We got the same room and to my disappointment nothing has changed. This hotel seriously needs to be updated. I ran a bath and the water was yellow. I ran it a... More

A warm greeting by a friendly receptionist, large comfortable room with views of the river, ideally situated for the Wicklow mountains. i loved this hotel. the only downside was the fact that the toilet in our room broke on our last night and refused to flush. This was quickly remedied when we mentioned it, despite the lateness of the hour.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, back in Easter, just loved everything about the place, food was great, staff helpful, rooms fresh and immaculate, looking forward to our next visit. The surrondings are stunning, very relaxing and peaceful, and theres a few shops very close to hotel. My 2 boys loved it.

Huge bedroom with a lovely view of the river. Common areas of the hotel are very cosy with open fires. The attached pub is a good example of an Irish local and I imagine would be really enjoyed by tourists. At night time there is noone on reception so you have to go through the pub. Receptionist was really friendly.... More
