Loved, Loved, Loved The Barn cottage and sheepwalk Cottages could not have asked for kinder and most caring neighbours and our Landlady Ms Mccabe was awesome. I spent 4 of my happiest months during winter at The Barn, Which boasts cosy wood burning fire, supreme ocean view overlooking the fabulous decking and BBQ area and 2 ensuite's one with big... More

My family stayed here for a week--and I could've stayed a year. I can't understand some of these reviews. Ms. McCabe bent over backwards to help us, newcomers to Ireland, find all of the best spots to visit. Our cottage was clean and cozy, with all of the comforts of home. I truly found Sheepwalk to be heaven on earth... More

Having arrived at the self catering sheepwalk house and cottages on a lovely sunny day, found it to be in a beautiful location with stunning views across rolling hills and on to the sea in the distance. Couldn't have wanted more scenic wise and the irish people held true to their friendly charm, however a couple of days into our... More

I found our Hostess quite unfriendly and rude. We stayed in the Forge, it was just a bit bigger than a garden shed and it had rats.running about the place. The water from the taps was cloudy and the cooking facilities were atrocious. We didn't stay for our full week because of the conditions. I would not recomend this place... More

Having dreamed of a country cottage for Christmas for many years now, Sheepwalk House had a lot to live up to. I was looking for log fires, country walks, hot showers and home comforts - luckily, Reggie (Regina) McCabe was on hand to make sure everything was perfectly magical. From the start, the service was five star. Knowing that we... More

WIth my other half working in the Middle East for a year, it was important to me to find the... More

The accommodation we found at Sheepwalk House ideally suited our purpose of somewhere comfortable, relaxing, and convenient for visiting family in Arklow and Avoca. The three of us a recently retired couple and 1 very aged parent (102 yrs in March) felt that we had arrived home. The proprietor, Mrs Regina McCabe, couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring that... More

We went for a girly weekend in the Granary cottage, which was just perfect! The cottage was very well maintained and clean (some of the least used kitchen equiptment was a bit dusty but nothing a wipe over couldn't sort out!). It was the perfect location for walking in the National Park and also for anight out in Arklow, and... More

We spent a wonderful week at Sheepwalk House over Christmas. The cottages, we had 2, were comfortable and had everything needed for a normal stay. What they lacked in order to cook a Christmas meal for 17 Mrs McCabe supplied from her own kitchen. She was helpful way beyond what we expected from an owner of holiday cottages! The scenery... More

Sheepwalk House and Cottages is in a great location, in the beautiful County Wicklow, and finding a place where you can self cater is great when travelling. There was plenty of space, comfy lounges, lots of helpful tourist information and beautiful views. However, the cottage we stayed in (The Coach House) needed a thorough clean (broken glass on the floor... More
