A HUGE thank you for genuine and warm hospitality! Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was simply decorated and comfortable. We chose to move to a front room for our last night, as it was more spacious and light. Both rooms were just fine! Catriona's breakfasts were wonderful. Great homecooked food, with homemade jams, plus warm, fresh croissants and... More

There was some confusion over our stay and because of this half of our party had to stay at the nearby hotel. Despite this, we were all welcomed during our arrival and offered tea, cookies, and some fresh sweet breads that were delicious and very welcome after our drive through the Gap. The rooms were very clean, basic but comfortable.... More

We stayed in Ashton House for 2 nights over the Easter holidays and what can we say, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we experienced the most complete welcome and hospitality we have had in a long time. Tea and biscuits on arrival with loads of advice and great craic thrown in free of charge. We... More

We had 1 night with Catherina and her husband at their B&B in Avoca. What a beautiful spot set off the road next to a stream just out of the town. Room was clean, modern and warm inside a beautiful two storey house. On arrival Catherina gave coffee and snacks while she talked thru the region. Recommended/booked a nice restaurant... More

We stayed in the January floods but despite the weather enjoyed our short visit. From the outside a period residence, Sean and Catriona have given a very modern look to the interior. Wood/laminate floors, white walls and contemporary furniture. Warmth of welcome on arrival with tea/coffee and home made cake was much appreciated after driving over the Wicklow Gap in... More

We stayed 2 nights in that wonderful B&B. Very warm welcome of Catriona & Shane making tea and coffee and carrying out 7 heavy suitcases. We could choose out of about 6 different kinds of breakfast which where very delicous. Outlook of the windows is great. Pub is a 3 minute walk. We ll come again!!!!
