Stopped for one night only with my sister - but what a night. I thought I had found a new mother! Beautiful surroundings, Lovely home and kept beautifully. Edna's aim is to make sure you are ok! She is like a mother hen without the nagging! Great to relax in the lounge with a cup of tea and some of... More

We enjoyed our stay at Rockfield House very much. We were Edna's last guests of the season. The room we had was lovely and had a great view out the big picture window. It was a great location for what we wanted to do. We went to Avoca Mills and Glendalough. When we returned at night, Edna always had some... More

If you do not want the very best then don't stay here!! Five star accommodation at B&B prices. By far the best place we stayed at in two weeks, not only for the facilites but Edna's hospitality and warmth. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean with fantastic views and lovely food. First day of our holiday and immediately felt relaxed. What more... More

On our 7th holiday in Ireland we spent 6 days at Rockfield House. What a wonderful house and garden with a fantastic view over the Wicklow Mountains! A very warm welcome, large and very tidy rooms, a delicious breakfast prepared with loving care, sweet little presents and flowers in the room and the very best: our hostess Edna!!! She's unique... Forget the Hilton, Quality Inn etc they have nothing on ‘Rockfield’ with its luxuriously appointed accommodation and stunning views of the Wicklow Mountains. By far the best accommodation we stayed in during our 2 week tour of Ireland. Edna’s hospitality is second to none, welcoming us into her beautiful home, allowing us to sample her delicious 'home baking' and wonderful... More

Rockfield was one of the highlights of our trip -- a true delight! The house was immaculate! The grounds were well manicured and carefully tended! The views were spectacular! The breakfasts were superb! There was ample free parking. It is conveniently located in close proximity to Glendalough and very close to the charming little village called Avoca (the venue of... We stayed for 3 nights and Edna really makes you feel at home! Clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect breakfast with complimentary cakes and other good stuff. We asked and got a picknick lunch that was just as delicious as the breakfast. We'll be back! More

This was the second time we stayed with Edna Crammond at this beautiful guesthouse situated about 2 kilometres from Avoca village. Without doubt one of the best B&Bs you will find. The location, scenary and particularly the hospitality is second to none. We toured northern Ireland on this trip but as our departure was from Dublin there was no hesitation... More
