We would give Helen 6 stars if we could. Because of a business trip in Dublin we only had a few days to get out and experience the Irish countryside and this was it! Contacted Helen a few weeks out and told her our desire to see some of Ireland; but, with limited time. She responded (very quickly) via email... More

I may come across bias here as I am from fethard, I took some friends home with me to visit my home town and decided to stay here as there was no room at my parents. Clonacody is an amazing place of Peace and proper Irish countryside. But you are still not to far from one of the oldest pubs... More

Today is a rainy October day and I am remembering last year when we visited Clonacody House, deep in the Irish countryside. Evening was falling, the yellow trees dripping rain and the windshield wipers thumping. We turned down a narrow drive hoping we were in the right place - and we were. There was a fire in the fireplace in... More

Set in beautiful countryside between Fethard and Clonmel, Clonacody House is an unique and very special place to stay. Dating from the 1780s, it is an impressive country house that uniquely combines unfussy grandeur with a relaxed homely atmosphere. On arrival I noticed that other guests seemed so relaxed and at ease - I soon joined their ranks! Helen and... More

We Had a family reunion at Clonacody House. Cannot say enough about this fantastic House. All our family were treated like old friends by Helen & Michael, they couldnt do enough for us. The rooms are set in the circa 40's era, makes you feel like you are Lady of the manor! The ideal place to go to get away... More

Clonacody House is a hidden treasure. The history of the house and Kellett family history deserve more recognition. The house has huge potential for private parties and is ideal for intimate gatherings. I also got the feeling that any such event would be at your own discretion, so you would get the run of the place. There are many local... More
