I stayed in Glencar House for four nights and my title says it all....It's a very special place. The setting is stunning and the hotel takes full advantage of the wonderful views. It's quaint and a little bit quirky. My room was large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I ate in the restaurant on three evenings. The food was tasty, wholesome... More

After an exhausting walk from black valley, we received à very warm welcome, and after settling down in our beautiful bedroom, we went down to the bar for à delicious... More

What a wonderful stay I had at Glencar House Hotel! Great hosts, great place, great area up in the mountains with lots of great walking. I climbed Carountahil on my 53rd birthday under fabulously sunny skies. I won't forget this jewel of a place. More
