My friend and I traveled to Roundstone during the off-season. We were supposed to stay at another B&B, and we stumbled upon St. Joseph's. I am so glad we did! The room was high up on the 3rd floor overlooking Main St. and the harbour. I only wish it wasn't raining so we could have taken advantageof the view! Christina... More

We stayed in November, out of season. We had a lovely room, and the place couldn't be more central. Christina made us a massive and delicious breakfast in the morning. Very nice place to stay. More

Visiting Roundstone is a great idea for any visitor to Ireland, and staying at St. Joseph's makes it magical. The building itself is worth a tour, and is convenient to everything. Christina makes sure you have everything you need. (Oh, and if you hear what sounds like an angel, relax. It isn't the afterlife but likely Christina singing a Gaelic... More

I spent three wonderfull nights there. A very nice house, very clean, very comfortable beds, place enough to fell like at home ! A big breakfast for begining the day (vegetarian or also full irish one), and if you are lucky, with the view on the harbour. It's possible to rent bikes in the house closed to the B&B. You... More

While spending one night in Doolin, our B&B host suggested we stay at "Wit's End" B&B in Roundstone, so we were dismayed to find that it was full. We walked around the tiny town of Roundstone to inquire at other B&Bs, and we stumbled upon St. Joseph's. And we're very glad we did! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable,... More

Roundstone is a delightful village west of Galway. Situated on the water, and surrounded by mountains perfect for hiking and getting a view of the area, the town is an ideal stopover for those seeking a taste of “the local.” The St. Joseph’s Bed & Breakfast is right in the middle of town and is run by one of the... Hostess very warm and friendly. Very much a family home. Room was basic and tight for space compared with the ensuite which was bright and spacious. The Breakfast area seems to span the family sitting room so had children wandering in and out looking at TV which was a bit strange. Location central. Parking available behind the house which was... Very friendly welcoming family in a house by the harbour with magnificent views of the Twelve Bens. Superb breakfasts, locally sourced food, large portions and extra chocolate easter egg on Easter Sunday! We were even treated to some stepdancing by the owners' grandson. We were very reluctant to leave. A few yards away from the pub (sessions with the local... More

Cristina and Seamus made us welcome right from the moment we arrived--early in the morning, before noon. The B&B could not have a better location, right on the main strip in this gem of a village. The rooms are no frills, but extremely clean and the hosts could not be nicer. I am a celiac and Cristina not only made... More

I hesitate to write this review, as I am afraid that if people find out about this B and B, I may have a hard time getting a room the next time we visit Ireland. During our eleven day trip to Ireland, this was the best B and B that we stayed at. Christina was wonderful and funny. Everything was... More
