We stayed in Errisbeg Lodge one night last august. This Bed & Breakfast is very convenient for Gurteen Bay and Dog's Bay, the two sandy jewels of Roundstone. Just cross the road, walk less than 3 minutes and you'll be right on the beach. The room was spacious and clean and the host was really nice. We really enjoy this... More

We wanted a complete'get awayf rom it all' break and picked Errisberg Lodge from the internet following reading the reviews and looking at the location on line. We were not disappointed, Shirley and Jackie gave us a good Irish welcome, and knew the area really well, giving helpful suggestions and local advice. The view from our window, (at the back... More

5 minutes' walk from Gurteen beach, Errisbeg Lodge was a perfect spot to get away from it all and enjoy the area around Roundstone. Both Shirley and Jack were very helpful and welcoming - Jack even gave us a lift to the bus back to Galway on the Sunday morning so couldn't ask for anything more! More

The picturesque situated Errisbeg Lodge is an ideal base for touring the lovely Connemara area. The backyard offers a breathtaking view on the Errisbeg (mountain), horses and a donkey included. The atlantic ocean with its sandy beaches is just a five-minute-walk away. Shirley, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and helped us with books and maps of the region.... More

We spent three nights at Errisbeg Lodge in May.Shirley welcomed us into her home and gave us lots of ideas for places to eat and sights to see. The rooms were warm and comfortable and Shirley's breakfasts were delicious. Certainly set us up for the day. Connemara and its magic did the rest. The rugged, majestic and tranquil beauty of... A beautiful location, with fantastic views. The rooms were clean and cosy. The welcome was fantastic, with stereotypical local stories. Very good advice on things to see and do. Breakfast was unexciting but perfectly good. More

We felt welcomed and appreciated. Our room was very nice and comfortable. There is nothing fancy about this b&b, but it was cozy and perfect for our needs. Breakfast was well-presented, fresh, and delicious. More

The views from the B&B are wonderful, the mountain behind you and the sea before you. The hostess is accomodating, full of chat and good information and takes care to see that you are well situated at breakfast. The rooms either have views of the mountain or the sea. The drawbacks to the B&B are that there is often a... More
