We stayed in May (apologies for the tradiness) and it was amazing! A walk on the grounds is a must as the scenery in so peaceful & picture perfect. The rooms are very nice - obtain a river view if possible. A night-cap in the bar was a great ending with friendly service. The fire smelled so good I asked... more

We stayed in May for 3days for our wedding anniversary. I have to say there is not enough positive words in the dictionary to describe how please we were and how great an experience we had. The setting is amazing. Our room was in the old part of the castle with windows over looking the river, the first morning I... more

We booked a relaxing weekend away and that is exactly what we got. We did not want to move around too much, just relaxed in the fab athmosphere that is Ballynahinch Castle. The food is fantastic, had a casual meal int he Bar on Friday and had another fantastic meal in the dining room on saturday. Breakfast was lovely and... more

I wished I could have stayed a few more nights! The Ballynahinch Castle Hotel is a wonderful place to stay when you want comfort while feeling as though you've traveled back in time. The room I had was small compared to a regular luxury hotel, but that was part of the charm. The view was fantastic! The room had all... more

I have just returned from Ireland where I stayed at Ballynahinch Hotel. The property was beautiful: a large, old mansion that was tastefully and elegantly decorated. The staff were wonderful, helpful people, who made our visit just perfect. The hotel is immaculate and comfortable, with a beautiful views and delicious food. The restaurant is superb, with perfectly cooked food and... more

We had a long weekend here in winter and it was close to perfect. We had beautiful crisp, clear days which helped the trip because the surroundings of this hotel are just beautiful. From our bedroom window we could see the mountains which just looked incredible in the beautiful winter sunshine. When you walk out of the door, there are... more

Spent three nights in this hotel last Summer and loved it! Beautiful location with fabulous walks on the grounds. Dined in the bar on one evening whilst slightly lacking in atmosphere ideal for somebody travelling alone. Breakfast was divine overlooking the beautiful river! Wonderful staff especially the charming porter whose name escapes me! Overall, a wonderful unique experience! more

I simply cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We selected Ballynahinch for a romantic three night stay and selected a river-front room. The location is simply stunning, it really is more beautiful than the photographs and is wonderfully secluded. The food served in both the restaurant and the bar was impecable. The evening dining experiences were a high point. The... more

Making it's way into my top 10 destinations, this is a hard act to follow. We booked a last minute two-night stay B&B with one Dinner included on a night of our choice. The cost was very reasonable. We were greeted by very friendly and polite staff and shown to our room by the porter, who carried our bags for... more
