Dog friendly and very accommodating, had a fantastic stay here. We arrived down with two small dogs and a six month old baby. The owners gave us a room close to the bar so the baby monitor worked while we had our dinner. Dogs joined us in the library later! Fantastic spot, and will definitely be back. More

My Husband and I stayed in the Lough Inagh Lodge for 1 night on the 6th November, together with 3 American friends. Unfortunately, we misjudged the length of time that the journey would take on the N59 so we didn’t arrive til late in the evening. To be honest, I have mixed feelings about my stay. As mentioned in my... More

Very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Location is stunning, room was large & comfortable, food was really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient for walking in the Maamturks & 12 Bens, ask staff for local knowledge/route advice etc. Hotel is at the higher and of cost bracket but the experience makes it good value. Location does... More

Great location, perfect for walking, fishing and cycling and just chilling out. The rooms are spacious, charming, comfortable, with good-sized bathrooms and changing areas. Beds were very comfortable and I had a few wonderful nights' sleep. The head chef does excellent steak and all the meals he prepared were really tasty and just the right amount. The home-made breads are... More

Last Saturday was a stormy day on Lough Inagh. Seafood chowder (served with a lovely little assortment of home-baked breads) in the pub watching rugby, followed by coffee served by the large turf fire in the dining room, with a 5 star view and 5 star service, made Lough Inagh lodge the perfect place to take refuge. I'll be back. More

This is a magnificent setting, on the shores of Lough Inagh, nestled in a flat valley with the Maamturk Mountain to your back and the Twelve Bens before you, the colours changeable and the smell of the bog and the mountain and the water. It doesn't really get much better than this. We arrived after a five hour drive from... More

Stayed here for 2 days in August, great hotel. As I was travelling by public transport, the hotel collected me in the near village, 10 minutes drive away. Great for fishing and walking. Double room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, view on the lake. Meals not cheap, but very good food. Will return. More

My wife and daughters and I stayed at Lough Inagh Lodge in mid-July. This hotel is a located in the Lough Inagh valley right on the lake. The beauty of this isolated Connemara setting is hard to put into words. The Lodge has a lovely relaxed and low key atmosphere, and it is the perfect base camp to return to,... More

This beautiful manor house is now an excellent hotel run by Maire O'Connor and her family. Experience extraordinary hospitality in a stunning setting surrounded by the mountains and Lough Inagh. It's off the beaten track, but that's exactly what we wanted. More
