Hotel staff were helpful and very friendly. Room was well appointed, underfloor heating made it very cosy. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Fantastic seafood, beautiful views. Will definately be back. More

Loved the couple of days on Bofin. The hotel is ideal. Paddy picks you up from the boat and is very helpful. The rooms are lovely and all that we needed. The dinner was first rate. Breakfast was nice with plenty on offer. The island is breathtaking but has to be seen with a bike. You could walk it but... More

This is a totally unique hotel experience set on a beautiful island the owner pat embodies the true "céad míle fáilte". The location of the hotel is perfect, it has a beautiful menu and is immaculately clean. What really sets this hotel apart from all others is the genuine irish hospitality and friendliness of its host pat. More

While it might not look like the most upmarket hotel in the world the Dolphin really is worth a visit. It's a bit of a gem on the beautiful island. Pat the owner is friendly and easy going so it's impossible not to like him! The rooms are lovely and spacious, the staff are helpful and the food(both bar and... More

This was a lovely hotel. The best thing about this hotel is it has just 11 rooms so has a lovely feel at home feel to it. The rooms are large and have loads of natural light. It really made such a difference compared to your typical dreary hotel room. Everything i liked about the hotel. The food was the... More

The co-owner Paddy was incredibly cheery and friendly from the minute he picked us up to the minute we left. Unfortunately he was the highlight of the stay! The room was a reasonable size but very noisy - we could hear every movement from the rooms either side and the bar above. The food was very average for the price... More

We had lunch the day we arrived at Day's hotel. Took forever to arrive, to feed 3 young kids and 3 hungry adults. And the kids food arrive after the adults..... And at that, the food was very average, to poor. Nasty seafood chowder in a watery broth, rather than the expected creamy wholesome soup you expect. Dolphin hotel on... More

We really weren't sure what to expect when we arranged to spend New Year with a group of friends on the island of Inishbofin. After spending a night at Clifden we head to Cleggan on New Years Eve & took the 30 minute ferry ride out to Inishbofin. Our host, Pat, was there to meet us on the pier. He... More

I was attending a wedding on the island which was in another hotel. I was unable to get accomodation so i contacted the owner who agreed to put me in a single room along with my friend. My friend was original going to pay €190 for 2 nights B&B and one evening meal(which was not optional). He agreed to get... More
