I specifically chose this location as it was stated in the galway.net website that it is near the pier. I also saw quite a few good comments that are more in number compared to the negative ones. Let's just say that the husband Joe Gill who picked us up from the pier immediately made us feel as if we are... More

Very close to the town centre but still beautifully located in the characteristic bay from where you can easily start some trekking in the south part of the island. We found the room very cozy and clean, equipped with all the amenities. Wonderful breakfast is served in the dining room conservatory facing the sea shore. Tea coffee and delicious biscuits... More

Absolutely fabulous! My family and I were stuck without proper accommodations until we lucked into Joe Gill's taxi and he informed us they had a last minute cancelation- due to poor weather we ended up staying on Inishmor for three days and they were absolutely wonderful partly due to the kindness and hospitality of the Gill family! Noirin was a... More

While the house was one of the very best in which we stayed, Noirin didn't seem at all interested in having us there. She was kind enough to send her husband to pick us up from the ferry, but didn't tell us, so we thought that he was just another van driver trying to earn a fare, so we walked... More

My co-worker asked me if she could join me on my trip to Ireland. She was enchanted with going to Inishmor. I had a stay in 2006 with Noirin and it was the bes. I searched for her B& B and made a reservation. Because we wanted to see Galway City we had to take the 6:30 ferry. Noirin went... More

short bike ride from center of town, good location, quiet and peaceful- breakfast was no frills but adequate for us, we are glad we spent the night on Inishmore because we had a chance to do more exploring than we ever could have if we only came on the day ferry, this is a great location for seeing much of... We stayed overnight with Noirin and her family this past weekend. The house is in a beautiful location facing the bay on Inis Mor, it was clean, bright and airy. We were offered (and we accepted) tea or coffee on arrival and lots of homemade brown bread - excellent. This family couldn't do enough for us and we had plenty... More

I cannot recommend this highly enough! I visit the aran islands every year and have to say that it is indeed my favourite place to stay on Inish Mor. Great hospitality, conversation, food and an incredibly comfortable stay and by far the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in, thats for sure!

Noirin was the most wonderful Bean ti we could have had. With our fumbling Irish, we greeted her and she spent the next three days helping us improve our language! It was delightful. Her cooking was excellent, and she shared some of her secrets for good brown bread. The guests share tables at mealtimes which was wonderful for us but... More

Been to many b+b s in ireland this was the coldest welcome we have ever received. On arrival we were left standing at the door in cold and drizzle. When we got to our rooms we had to ask for heating to be turned on[it was 3 degrees C outside] .No tea making facilities.Poor breakfast.Just overall very poor.
