Had a very nice night in the Hotel. The staff were exceptionally good, very friendly and helpful throughout. We enjoyed our stay because of the service received. Breakfast was lovely and the food was very good. The hotel had a real family run feel to it and this adds to its charm. The rooms are basic but clean, tidy and... More

called in with my partner for lunch on may bank holiday monday and it was a total disaster - all the food we had ordered was not served, additional food we had not ordered was served and we were overcharged. worse, a surly member of staff refused to acknowledge this to the point where i left in complete frustration without... The staff were very friendly which is a very important part of any holiday. The hotel is just a wee bit run down. The breakfast was ok. The beds were not that comfortable. Hopefully things will improve with time.

This is a family owned / run hotel on the main street. The external decor is nice and inviting. The staff are very friendly and mostly family members. The rooms are basic but are clean and functional. The evening meals , served in the bar area, are very good. The Thursday evening stake special is mouthwatering. Breakfast is listed as... More

I had booked a Groupon deal to Ostan nan Rosann in sweet Dungloe for the week-end. Arrived at dusk, and couldn't immediately find it, so stopped at a Filling Station, to ask the lads there. "That's it there", they said, pointing across the road, "but, it's closed down!" Had had a look on Trip Advisor, and was neither really surprised,... More

great homely hotel,we stayed for 4days,and were very well looked after.it is family owned and run by the boyle family.the staff were very kind, helpfull, and attentive.the breakfast was a great irish start to the day.it included juice, cereal, and a full irish fry, toast and tea or coffee.delicious.i would and will go back in the future.it is a spotlessly clean hotel with roomy rooms.

We went there for a meal there during the Summer. We were very disappointed with our meal. Portions were small and extra portions would be charged for. We ate in the bar. There weren't many people there at the time. The staff were friendly & helpful generally. The management don't seem to realize that we are in a recession as... More

Food excellent. Staff very friendly & couldn't do enough to cater for everyone ! Ballroom & reception area decorated beautifully. Would definitely recommend it as a wedding venue! Fantastic day had by all in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

The hotel is located in a fabulous area of Donegal....The town it'self is very quiet. The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We even had our bags taken to our room. The food was good but the menu was a little plain. I would definitely stay there again maybe in... More

We stayed here on a groupon deal that included two nights bed and breakfast and an evening main course. It was very reasonable so therefore our expectations were low. Initially these were partly confirmed as the first room we were shown, on the 3rd floor, was cold and the walls were thin, so we could here a lot of conversation... More
