couldnt get a room in the hotel of the wedding we where invited to,so we took a chance on this large BandB. nice room,excellent hosts,big breakfast and owners children give nice family feel to the place. we where given a key and was not a problem to arrive back late, "just pull the door behind ya on your way in"... More

very friendly, basic but spotless, breakfast very good, they have young children but not a major problem, we hardly heard them. mirander is a very nice lady, we will be going back to dergfield house in the future . More

Accommodations were very good, and location while not walking distance, was convenient to Stranorlar and several local restaurants and pubs, as well as very good access for day trips to northern Donegal, Donegal city, Cliffs of Slieve League, and Omagh. Nice B&B, the women who owns it was very nice. The rooms were basic but very clean, breakfast was good. Takes around 15 mins to walk to Ballybofey town so therefore if you were out for the night you would need to get a taxi. The lady has children so be prepared for some noise. We stayed for one night only but we had a comfortable double ensuite room which was spotless in terms of cleanliness. Breakfast in the morning was a choice of warm Irish breakfasts, along with cereals, toasts and juices - the hosts couldn't be more accommodating (we overheard other guests asking for other specific meals and they were more than happy... Dergfield House was a beautiful home with warm and friendly hosts. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and neat! Breakfast was great! We would recommend this home for people traveling northern Ireland! More
