A stay in the Historic Eureka Inn is one that you will not regret. The moment you walk through the door, you'll find yourself immersed in an era totally different from the one you know, and yet all the comforts of today will be there, too. My stay was in a suite that was so luscious that I didn't want... More

Every time I am in the Jonesborough area I love staying at the Eureka Inn. You have to realize, it is a historic building, and it has that older feel...but the beds, bathrooms, and most important things are all up to date and comfortable. The breakfasts are simple and delicious and I honestly feel like I am visiting a home... More

My son and I traveled to Jonesborough to see some of the historic sites in the area. After reading the reviews, thought this would be a good place to soak up some of the historic ambience. The innkeeper told me that there would not be any breakfast included because of the off season rate, but there would be coffee and... More

I read once that the most important moment in your life is the one RIGHT NOW. If that moment is not perfect, then change it. One of the great things about staying at the Eureka is that I am here 24/7, and if you have ANY issue then I am a phone call or a few steps away. My job... More

Ten of us who travel to B&Bs every December (this was our 32nd year) spent two nights at the Historic Eureka Inn in Jonesborough. It is a lovely inn, old with lots of history, rooms are a bit smaller than average but good accomodations. A bountiful continental breakfast is laid out for your enjoyment. Big porches at the front and... More

First, this review is long over due! Back in April we held my parents 50th wedding anniversary here. We hosted a garden party lunch for approximately 75 people. As I was planning this event remotely, Maria was extremely helpful in working with me to make sure all of the details were just perfect. The back garden area was just the... More

Staying at the Eureka Inn was our first trip together since our honeymoon, we were not disappointed! Upon our arrival, Maria, the Innkeeper, greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the Inn. We stayed in the Garden View Room, which was cozy and very clean. The breakfast, served buffet style each morning, featured local and organic foods and... More

My husband and I fell in love with this town and inn so much that we also got married here, are going to spend our anniversary here, and generally make it to the Eureka several times a year. Maria (the inn keeper) is so friendly, helpful, professional, and sincerely talented at what she does. She works her butt off and... More

We arrived at the Eureka Inn expecting it to be clean, comfortable and accommodating. We were not disappointed. Maria made us feel right at home from the beginning. Her gift of hospitality even extended to helping us choose a dinner location and evening entertainment. Just down the street a Cuban restaurant, the Dining Room, served exquisite fare. Right next door... More

I travel three or four times a year to the Johnson City region. The best part of my trip is when I arrive at the Historic Eureka Inn in Jonesborough. Maria has everything ready: my favorite room, my favorite breakfast yogurt and even samples of her latest organic recipes to try. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and charming. The... More
