I've been a Sturgis Rally attender since 1980. We've stayed at Glencoe since 2003. Since the new ownership, the outhouses and shower rooms are a #### hole. They "hire" the cleaning crew for tips! Come on! HIRE some decent cleaners or this will be our last year. We meet friends from around the US and camp together-so you stand to... More

We have stayed at Glencoe for 14 years straight. It just keeps getting better! Glencoe is not downtown Sturgis, and that's just the way we want it. If you like a great party, with a lot of great people, you've got to check this place out. Absolutely the best evening activities in the Black Hills. Great food, great facilities. Improvements... We traveled 1400 miles to get there. Arrived late on Monday night. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They personally guided our group to our camp space. The next day we had breakfast in the Pavillion before we rode the hills. The paving and vendors were big upgrades for us. Thank you to the whole crew and owners. We... More

Checked in a week prior to rally. First 4 days great then 2 different rv's claimed I was in the spot they held for 10 yrs. The 2nd RV by his own admission was always high on oxyCodone and showed 2 handguns, plus he ran a 8500watt generator 24/7 25 feet from my tent. Situation became confrontational twice. (Glencoe's rules..NO WEAPONS)... More

The facilities were ok, the crowd is a loud all nighter. I'm getting to the age where I LIKE to hang late sometimes still, but burnouts and full throttles 3 in the morning get a little old after about the third or fourth night. If you like to party like a rock star and love weird nude people, then this... More

Glencoe recently paved the main road through camp, however anyone who has visited can tell you it was an accident waiting to happen and on 8/10 the worst accident imaginable happened. A young man died. yes he was probably drunk, but the pavement without speed control (dips/bumps) is what part of the reason for his action. Also, they added bands... More

Glencoe is a mere shadow of its former fun times. I stayed at Glencoe in 00,01,02 and it was terrific. In 09, it was the pits. Hooter Alley is essentially destroyed. The good food is gone. But they still have the same showers & outhouses from 1983. The new owners are clueless and obviously have hired Beavis & Butthead to... More

This is the last time I stay at Glenco. The campground used to be in excellent condition and has changed to big mess. I paid for camping and concerts and the party. My biggest issue is the concerts that were included in the fees I paid. Kiss preformed Monday the 4th even though they were shorted $200,000. We were lucky... More

We attended the Camp to see a concert on Sunday August 6th. When we purchased our tickets, we were told that we needed to buy drink tickets at the drink ticket booth before entering the venue. There we were told that mixed drinks were $7 and beer tickets were $4. Since we were interested in drinking both, we purchased $40... More
