We stayed in the "Lone Stag", cabin #6 for our anniversary. It was tiny, but we knew that from the beginning. The pros: The owner was really friendly!! She gave great recommendations for restaurants, told us about fun things to do, and even had started the heater in the cabin right before we got there so it was perfectly warm!... More

First of all, the map of the cabin layout is very deceiving, cabins are much closer to each other than depicted. If you are a late sleeper, by late I mean 8am, in cabins 16 and 17 there are chickens in a pen outside which get up early. We found them amusing as we are already up by the time... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was ok. The road noise is a bit much especially when you think cabins will be quiet. There was no soap in the bathroom and no dish cloths to wash dishes even though you would be charged 10.00 for any unwashed dishes. It was close to Keystone, Mt. Rushmore, etc. I think... More

My husband, myself, and our 2 kids (both under the age of 2), stayed in cabin number 7 in october 2011. The heaters didnt put out heat, so we had to rely on the "fireplace". Its a fake fireplace. Then the loft got too hot, and the downstairs bedroom was still much too cold. From the pictures the cabin looks... More

These cabins are located right by a busy highway. The entire campground needed maintained and updated. There were chickens walking around pooping everywhere. The furniture, especially the beds were in bad shape. They indicate wi-fi, what they don't mention is you have to go to the pavillion to get access (not your cabin). The TV was terrible too, no cable,... More

The cabins are a little dated but very reasonably priced for the amount of room we had. There was a loft with 2 beds, a separate room with another bed, and the couch was a pull-out. There was TV (kids “needed” it) but it was broadcast digital and not great reception. It was a little outside Rapid City, but fairly... More

Perhaps the owner is bi-polar as I've read the other reviews that say they are "nice". We found them to be more the "postal" type. The place was filthy, filled with spiders and bugs, and hadn't been dusted or vacuumed anytime recently. There were still personal items on the floor beside the bed from the previous renters. The owner was... More

My Fiance and I stayed in two different cabins during the Sturgis Motorycycle Rally. #15, a small 1 room (queen bed) and #7 a larger 1 bedroom with loft. Both were great. Tammy, was so helpful and nice before we got there, after we booked and during our stay. Very, very nice to us! Cabin #15 is a one room... More

We stayed here 2 nights. This place is perfect. Neighbors, but you don't know they are there. The temperatures are nice, the play scape is perfect for kids of all ages. There were ants in the cabin, and they did not remember we were coming, so the AC was off. They couldn't find our reservation, as we had booked it... More

We enjoyed our two nights there and the owners were very friendly and kind. The cabin we stayed in was clean , nice, comfortable yet somewhat small. That was ok though as we were in and out . It was noisy though as it is right by the highway ...but not a bother though. It is a really nice place... More
