The front staff, support services and wait staff in their restaurant were outstanding. We had a fabulous room, king bed, with balcony to enjoy the sunset/sunrise. There is a trolley that comes to the hotel on the hour ($1 each way per person) that will take you to Deadwood Main Street. We drove Main Street and there was nothing special... More

My spouse and I stayed at the Lodge, the property is very clean. Enjoyed the meals in the resturant, especially breakfast. Good service, comfortable beds. A little out of town, but that was ok. Lots of parking too.

We had planned our trip in August 2012 and got a very good web rate for our 7 night stay in May 2013. We got a family suite (there was only my husband and me), Room 420, which was huge! Balcony, good view over Tatanka, very comfy beds, very clean, large fridge, 2 TV's. Room was very quiet. Free wifi... More

When we checked in, we were met by a very pleasant young lady wearing a name badge indicating that her job title was (roll of drums please) "DIRECTOR OF FIRST IMPRESSIONS". We nearly turned round. The Lodge is a large casino hotel in Deadwood. It's like Reno or Vegas and not at all Western or "Cowboy", the noise of slot... More

We had a great time at the hotel and the kids loved the pool area. Deadwood was a great place to stay to enjoy the area. Liked that there were two restaurant options at the hotel since it was a couple minute drive to town.

The rooms were clean, casino was clean, restaurants had good food. This placed worked. Away from the downtown which I like. The kids had a great time at the pool. The hot tub area was good as well. The whole area was beautiful. Great place to visit.

We were looking for comfortable, clean, and reasonably modern accommodations away from the crowded streets of Deadwood. The Lodge at Deadwood met all of our needs - clean, quiet, comfortable beds, easy electrical outlets, large room, etc. for a reasonable price. The restaurant served a nice breakfast as well.

Didn't have reservations but chose this place from the Tripadvisor reviews and were really glad we picked here!
