We were accidentally put into a dirty room. The staff was great and tried to accommodate us. The owner was very argumentative and insisted on just giving us $40 dollars off. A warm welcome, nice clean rooms, excellent beds and a good breakfast -- all for $90. Great to have the famous Maurice's BBQ right next door. We will certainly stay here again. P.S. We didn't find it difficult to find -- just look for the signs for Comfort Inns, Holiday Inn and HoJo's (they are steps from one another).

This brand new facility is conveniently lcoated off of I-95 at Exit 98, but far enough away from the highway so there's no traffic noise! The room was fine, neat and clean. Unbeknowst to us, the window was broken and after being lifted, fell destroying our GPS which my husband had held in his hand just under the window. Needing a nights sleep on our way south, we opted for the best priced hotel in Santee but with much in trepidation due to the low price. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient, the room was extremely comfortable and free breakfast was good- loved the waffles. Highly recommend for transient travelers as right off I95 and a great value.
