Stayed in Charleston 3 nights, loved this location walking distance to everything and right on the (free) trolley route. The staff was very helpful in every way from keeping us comfortable to recommending good restaurants to fun sites to see. Free parking was appreciated. For the price I felt this was great stay. More

The hotel is in an ideal location to explore all of historic downtown Charleston. Parking is complimentary and we didn't need the car at all. We've stayed here a couple of times now and every time is very nice and comfortable. Room was clean and spacious with luxury linens. Tastefully decorated with updated bathroom in our king room. Also had french doors to a shared verandah on the 3rd floor. Parking is on site and free. Walking distance to CofC, most of downtown and market.... More

Excellent location to everything downtown. Really clean, nice, hotel, and a great price. But....the staff are the most amazing, helpful, and friendiest I have seen. I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star resorts and wasn't treated as well as here. No pun intended, but I felt like a King at the King Charles. More
