The best thing about this property is its proximity to the GAP bike trail. It is also clean. But the rooms are very small and during our July stay were very hot and stuffy. The house is not air conditioned. Opening the windows brought traffic and train noise, but no relief from the heat. Two other negative points for us... More

We found the Gingerbread house nicely furnished, clean and it has a great porch. As a biker I appreciate a nice place to put my bottom down after a long day riding. I would have appreciated knowing that this B&B does not have Air Conditioning. Don't stop here if you want a cool stay on a hot summer's night.

This was a fine place to stay while cycling the GAP. In fact, it can be seen from the trail, which is comforting after miles of trial, albeit gorgeous. Stayed here while biking the Great Allegheny Passage. Clean, modern rooms with a full, hot breakfast. Would recommend.

While biking on the Great Allegheny Passage, my partner and I stayed at this quaint bed and breakfast run by Marianne and daughter Julie. The house was wonderful and located only 100 yards off of the trail. Dinner at the local Rockwood Opera House was perfect -- green beans and ham - a Pennsylvania classic! Breakfast was also great.
