I echo everyone's sentiments about how lovely and charming this B&B is along with how sweet Barb, Ed and yes most definitely Flash is! So I will not repeat what they wrote but instead I wish to add that we found the location of this B&B to be in great proximity to lots of things to see and do! Since... More

Spent two nights at Colonial Crossroads this past weekend. The house is immaculate and dating back to the late 1700s has so much history. Barb & Ed have done a great job on B&B and I can't say enough how being there is like being at a friend's home...including Flash their dog, who is an added bonus to your stay

We stayed one night at the Colonial Crossroads and were very pleased. We had the Lafayette room which was large and very comfortable. My husband and I also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub which was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The breakfast was great and they have coffee, tea, and snacks out at other... More

We spent the night here after traveling through central PA and we loved it. We were in awe at the building and furnishings, built in 1790 as a tavern and restored by Ed and his son; they didn't miss a single detail. We stayed in the Lafayette Room, which was cozy, beautifully decorated and had all the modern amenities. The... More

My son, husband and I visited early October for the car show, booking the York and Pennsylvania rooms, When we arrived we didn't know what to expect - it was our first B&B. We walked into fresh coffee cake, beverages and a brief but incredibly impressive tour. It was amazing, you could feel the history in a good vibe way.... More

I spent just one night here during an overnight visit to friends in the area. This is a lovely bed and breakfast. It is decorated in the colonial style, in keeping with the building's history. The common rooms and my room were immaculate, warm, cozy, and inviting. My room was large, with a fireplace and an ensuite bathroom containing a... More

this was our first stop on a belated honeymoon. The room was neat and comfortable, the fireplace gave the room a romantic feel. Breakfast was great and we set off on the rest of our trip well rested and pleased with our stay.

From the moment you pull up to the house you feel at home. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful yellow rose in our room. Barb immediately made us feel welcomed with a tour of the house. Our room was beautifully decorated with period pieces. For breakfast we had the most awesome blueberry baked... More

Ed and Barb (and their adorable dog, Flash) were extremely accommodating and hospitable for us. The place is beautiful, comfortable, and homey; the food is delicious; and the price is quite reasonable. I would highly recommend Colonial Crossroads to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway. They made us feel at home and pampered. Thanks!

We selected Colonial Crossroads for an anniversary getaway weekend and had a lovely stay. When we got to our room, Barb had a rose and a congratulatory note waiting for us. Being that there are fewer rooms, our stay had a more personalized feeling to it. The house was beautifully furnished with period antiques but with all modern amenities. It's... More
