I found this a very tricky review to write as I have not stayed in a place like this in Australia before so I wasnt too sure what to expect. Obviously its not a 5 star lodgings but then again, it isnt meant to be. With that in mind you have to remember that its not a luxury hotel, its... More

We recently stayed at Byron Springs Guesthouse for our honeymoon during March. Everything about this guesthouse was perfect. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the gorgeous girl on reception. We arrived early in the morning and although our check in was not until the afternoon, she told us that she would get our room ready as soon... More

Stayed twice at Byron Springs Guesthouse during my stay in Australia. The guesthouse is set in a residential neighborhood located aprox 20 minute walking from downtown. I must say that it was a drag to pull my bag from the Transit Center but the tranquility of the place made up for the effort. Good beds, clean, a very nice breakfast,... More

This place is not a guest house in the normal way - more like an excellent backpackers. Rooms quite nice, all white and sparsely furnished but it could easily have been called Byron executive rooms rather than guesthouse. It's a bit odd making your own breakfast in the kitchen along with all the other guests, not having the bed made,... More

Great guest house, met some nice overseas travellers. Clean and well kept I would go back for sure. Only downfall I would have liked a tv and a bar fridge in the room. We got free use of bikes instead that was great for the 2 k ride to town.

Ok, I may be being a bit harsh about Byron since we go back pretty regularly for a dose of warm water and the fabulous French patisserie at L'ultime. Our obsession with these two aspects of the place enable us to overlook the adolescent revelers and would-be adolescent decrepitudes that tend to dominate the place in holiday periods, and Byron... We stayed at Byron Springs for a night whilst travelling up the east coast. We wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful house, well cared for! Helpful and friendly hosts and a very relaxed atmosphere!

Byron Springs is an eight roomed B&B a couple of km's from the vibrant hustle and bustle of the town centre. The house is a lovely old weatherboard home remodeled to accommodate eight rooms of various configurations. We had a king with ensuite room which was very good value at A$95 including a continental breakfast in the open, airy and... More

One of the best guest houses I have stayed in during my two months in Australia. Cheaper than some private rooms in hostels. Beautiful house in a lovely residential location. Only 20 min walk to town or free use of bikes. The owner Peter will also give you a lift when he is going into town and often makes a... More
