Another great stay at The Housel Hotel, Housel Bay. Front facing room this time with beautiful view. 2 blinds plus curtains meant that lighthouse beam was not distracting at night. Excellent food although the menu was the same most nights. Very helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast not until 8:30 but we soon got used to having a lie in!

We spent four days here at the end of November. Had a sea facing room, which had all that you wanted including an ironing board. The view was terrific sun rise and sun sets were spectacular. We went there for an organised Christmas lunch yesterday, 2nd December 2012, and it was stunning. Food was gourmet standard, very reasonably priced, and the most amazing views. I would recommend this hotel for its food alone. We did not see the rooms.

Without doubt, one of the most impressive views of a hotel I've stayed in. Perched on the edge of a cliff, with a view of the lighthouse on Lizard point, the hotel couldn't be better situated. This was our groups third visit to this eclectic special hotel. Once again we werent disappointed. Great food with an outstanding vegetarian menu which would put to shame many veggie resaturant. We arrived to be told that the larger room we had booked was not available so we were given a smaller room, it was adaquate,very clean, but the bathroom was small, no hooks on the doors and only a small shelf to put things on. Everything perfect. Food excellant. Good choices. Catered well for vegetarians Rooms spacious. Location is fantastic. Lovely relaxing place to stay, all staff very friendly, very good value for money, couldn't recommend it enough
