we stayed here in Sept 2011 - lovely house, lovely room .great food and really nice people set in a very pretty sea side port - our room looked out at the tall ship in the harbour - highly recommend this one

Very central, charming B&B in the picturesque town of Charlestown. We were fortunate to stay in the four poster room on the top floor with lovely view of the tall ships. We tried this guest house on recommendation from a friend as we wanted to stay nearby to Eden and The Gardens of Heligan without staying in St. Austell. The town of Charlestown was really picturesque and the rooms were spacious and clean. Our bed was enourmous and we woke up not wanting to leave. Would definitely recommend this to travellers... More

Just got back from a wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse in the charming harbour of Charlestown. Receiving a very warm welcome on arrival we were shown to our fabulous room with views over the harbour with its tall ships. Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper as I sleep pretty soundly but we were unlucky enough to have the worlds loudest snorer above us which meant the thin Walls and ceilings reverberated most of the night followed by Mr Snorer's early rise during which he spent at least an hour stomping up and down around his room... More

Well situated, clean and functional...... Lacks character for such a nice setting. Our one challenge was the sound from the rooms above. So if you are going to book, ask for a top floor room or you will woken by heavy footsteps from above and suffer the smell of breakfast being cooked.
