warm welcome for us from Michael and Babs. We were well looked after trips to Eden and Heligan were arranged. We had a wonderful time comfortable beds and warm showers in a cold and windy May were just what we needed thanks again. Big breakfast and snacks too super chips even made us a packed lunch.

Babs and Michael pay great attention to detail, and our rooms were comfortable and superbly appointed. The Eden Break was excellent, well-organised and with an amusing, intelligent and interesting guide. As for Michael’s breakfasts…….! C & H, Dorset

We spent three fantastic nights here, from 27th to 29thOct. 2012 inclusive. I would class Joyce and I as seasoned World Travellers, who have spent very little time in B&B's in the UK or anywhere else. Our normal holidays are in 5* luxury hotels. Well let me tell you, this B&B was a 5* base from which we travelled to... More

My wife and I decided to spend our first wedding anniversary here and we were both very happy indeed with our choice. Michael and Babs are a lovely couple; friendly, informative, helpful and they made our stay an absolute pleasure. The B&B itself is beautifully appointed - more like a small hotel in terms of the standards, both in terms... More

My husband and I stayed with Babs and Michael at the Old Chapel, after I booked the Eden Project break with them. This was excellent value for money and David our guide was brilliant. Don't be put off by having a guide, he was very knowledgeable and pointed out so much more than if we had gone under our own... More

I chose this B & B because my wife has always wanted to live in a converted chapel and the reviews were very good. Michael and Babs fully lived up to their excellent reputation and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our room (the twin room) was very tastefully furnished and the beds were most comfortable. We had... More

We booked the three night Eden Project break which we thoroughly recommend. The weather was not good but because the Old Chapel was so comfortable we still had a marvellous time. Our room was large, very well appointed, with all amenities provided and a very comfortable four poster bed. The ensuite shower room was a good size and spotlessly clean,... More

This is an excellent guesthouse in a very convenient location for sightseeing especially to Fowey, Port Isaac and other lovely waterside areas. Beautiful lush countryside. Great hosts in Michael and Babs, and excellent rates - I was not charged a supplement for occupancy of a twin room which is unusual, especially in the peak season.
