We decide to opt for Heathrow cottages rather than the usual Hotels. We stayed one night 24th April before flying to New York for my husbands 60th b'day treat. As a solo traveler without a rented car, I took the tube to the nearest stop, then took a bus to a stop about a mile away from the cottage.
