A good location, with spacious rooms. Units could be updated though, with newer bathrooms and flat-screen televisions.

We stayed at the Penn National Inn for 2 nights for the Gettysburg Reenactment weekend. It was only about a 20 minute drive from Gettysburg (through beautiful countryside), and well worth it considering how much we saved over staying in Gettysburg. “It was a mistake to stay here + False advertising”

Why? The bathroom was not clean and had mold growing on the ceiling above the shower...live mold, bigger than a hubcap. I couldn't take a shower. I went into the office, for the first time in my life, and complained. They said sorry, we'll put clean the ceiling on the list. That was it. The room was bare but the... More

We were looking for an affordable and relaxing hotel to host our church retreat and found the Penn National Inn absolutely PERFECT. The hotel's rooms were clean, oversized and very comfortable.
